Join us for an overview of the updates to ISO 14001:2026. The Final Draft International Standard (FDIS) was published in early January and the final standard will be published soon, replacing the previous 2015 version. Organizations seeking initial ISO 14001 certification will be expected to adopt the 2026 version of the standard, while organizations with existing certifications are expected to transition to the new version over a 3-year period.

The 2026 version of the ISO 14001 standard strengthens the existing version with several notable enhancements and clarifications, including a stronger emphasis on consideration of climate change, biodiversity and other external factors throughout the life cycle, as well as strengthened requirements related to external business partners. In addition, the proposed revisions add clarity on risk management and emergency planning, include a new clause addressing change management and introduce multiple changes in terminology.

This 45 minute webinar will provide a clause-by-clause overview of the 2026 standard, highlight key updates, and provide insights on navigating the transition process.
